Santis Health is seeking a highly motivated and organized Policy Coordinator to join our team. As a Policy Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our management consulting team in providing administrative and consulting-related activities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a wide range of client projects and deliverables, working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Conduct regular new business scans and coordinate the response to RFPs.
- Coordinate new business meetings and track emerging and evolving public policy issues.
- Conduct research and draft deliverables, including slide decks, reports, and news releases.
- Support the execution of stakeholder maps and engagement plans, including conducting secondary research and setting up interviews.
- Develop project management plans and keep the project team focused on meeting multiple, tight timelines.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the team, including scheduling and coordinating meetings and interviews.
- Support all aspects of client engagements with a high degree of professionalism.
- Synthesize information and develop materials suitable for various audiences.
- Identify key stakeholders and create tailored stakeholder lists.
- Support the execution of stakeholder engagement activities, including assisting with interviews, focus groups, and other engagements as necessary.
- Draft and edit a wide range of briefing notes, slide decks, and other project deliverables.
- Prepare background materials, agendas, and meeting summaries.
- Post-secondary education is required; post-graduate training is an asset.
- Project Management experience or certification is highly desired.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of public policy and politics in Ontario and across Canada.
- Demonstrated knowledge of politics and health policy is an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent priority-setting and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong research skills.
- Independent self-starter.
- High-level of professionalism.
- Impeccable work ethic.
- PowerPoint and graphic design skills are an asset.
- Bilingualism (French/English) would be an asset.
- Flexible schedule with some weekend and evening work.
