Key Account Manager, Ontario Retail Accounts

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at High Liner Foods. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers in the Ontario retail market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute customer relationship strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and optimize business outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve sell-through, profit, and revenue, and develop plans to capitalize on these opportunities.
- Provide regular business insights and market intelligence to management and stakeholders.
- Manage merchandising planning and development, including product assortment, trade promotion, and pricing recommendations.
- Forecast sales and revenue using market intelligence and customer POS data.
- University degree in Business, Commerce, or related field.
- 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods organizations.
- Excellent negotiation, assessment, and analytical skills.
- Practical experience with category management.
- Strong technical skills, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and working knowledge of syndicated data sources.
- Ability to travel as needed within Ontario to drive business results.
