Job Description
We are seeking a Facilitator, Anti-Racism to join our team at VCH. As a member of our Anti-Racism Team, you will play a key role in supporting the organization's commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of EDI training programs that promote cultural safety and inclusion within the organization.
- Provide subject matter expertise on EDI and cultural safety to support the development of policies, guidelines, and training materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop training curriculum and facilitate workshops that enhance the competencies of the VCH workforce.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to advance the organization's goals of promoting inclusive and culturally safe services.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Master's Degree in Adult Learning or a related discipline.
- Three years' recent experience in counselling, coaching, mentoring, training, conflict resolution, and facilitation.
- Demonstrated ability to apply a trauma-informed approach to learning and development.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism issues in BC and Canada.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
