Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Accessibility Lead to join the Diversity Equity Inclusion Team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in equity, diversity and inclusion, with experience in program and project management, change management, organization development, engagement, training and development, and conducting program evaluations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating across portfolios, providing mentorship to staff and medical staff to advance EDI priorities, managing projects, proposing new initiatives, and liaising with other Vancouver Coastal Health programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise, collaborate, and educate staff and medical staff on EDI priorities
  • Manage projects and propose new initiatives to advance EDI
  • Liaise with other VCH programs to engage and improve quality
  • Develop partnerships with VCH departments to adopt inclusive practices
  • Support the development of baseline metrics and KPIs for accessibility

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline, such as Social Sciences, Business Administration, Education, or Health Administration.

Additionally, the candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in EDI program and project management, as well as change management, organization development, engagement, training and development, and conducting program evaluations.
