Landscape Worker Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Landscape Worker to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a key member of our landscape maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the beauty and health of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their appearance and health.
  • Cut grass and other vegetation to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Rake and collect refuse to keep our outdoor spaces clean and free of debris.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to improve soil quality and appearance.
  • Lay sod or seed to repair and maintain our lawns and gardens.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to add color and beauty to our outdoor spaces.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding work requires a high level of fitness and stamina.
  • Attention to detail is essential to ensure high-quality work.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
