Job Title: Application Engineer II SCBU

At Ansys, we are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer II to contribute to the support and deployment of Ansys EDA products across top semiconductor companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop competence in one or more Ansys EDA products working independently
  • Provide customer support and answer questions on tools functionality
  • Triage complaints about product defects and root cause for R&D
  • Write clear descriptions of product enhancement requests
  • Work behind the scenes, be task-orientated and take direction from a mentor to assist with evaluations, benchmarks, or demos
  • Develop the trust and respect of team members
Requirements:
  • BS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years' experience, MS with 3 years' experience, or PhD with 1 year experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good programming skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of VLSI design, Physical Design, CMOS fundamentals
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Passion to learn and deploy new technologies
  • 0-2 years of prior experience in either of a) ASIC Physical design, b) Power-Integrity/Signal-Integrity/Reliability Closure c) Custom circuit design and simulation
