About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Parts Coordinator to join our team at Silver Hills Bakery. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes by managing our parts inventory and coordinating with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and review the status of requisitions, orders with ETA, and monitor inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports, and contact suppliers for any issues or inquiries.
  • Set up new vendors following our vendor onboarding process and review requisition orders to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
  • Manage AP-related tasks, including posting receivables, managing invoices and POs, and reconciliations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the maintenance team.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a production-based environment as a parts person, preferably in a maintenance environment.
  • Experience working closely with technicians to overcome and solve equipment issues.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time and organizational management skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to thrive in an ever-changing and dynamic environment with ever-changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Financial/Accounting experience.
  • Full cycle AP experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains.
  • Strong understanding of Excel.
