About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Toptal. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by serving as the end-to-end owner of a new, high-impact business line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to launch new business initiatives and drive business growth.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and develop targeted business plans.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze business performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, commercial operations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and expansion in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business data and develop targeted solutions.
  • Experience working in a professional services organization, preferably in the education sector.
