Job Title: Business Development Officer

Island Home Furniture is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through strategic planning, market research, and relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and expansion
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 people to ensure effective execution of business plans
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform business decisions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 2-3 years of experience in business development or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Working Conditions:
  • 35-40 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language required
