Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Advisor to join our Registration Team at National Bank. As a specialist in regulatory registrations, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice and support to stakeholders on regulatory registrations;
  • Coordinating special projects related to regulatory changes and registrations;
  • Interpreting and communicating CIRO rules and policies related to registration;
  • Identifying problems and proposing solutions that meet the Bank's business objectives.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of six colleagues in the compliance sector. As a Technical Advisor, you will report to the Manager, Registration Department and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A three-year professional college diploma or academic equivalent related to the sector of activity;
  • At least 3 years of experience related to the sector of activity;
  • Ability to analyze and review securities regulations;
  • Knowledge of the Power BI tool, Microsoft Excel, and Office365 applications;
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to provide guidance and support to internal partners.

Language

English is the primary language required for this role, as you will need to collaborate with a regulator/authority/government body outside Quebec.
