Job Summary
The Pediatric Medicine and Surgery Clinics at McMaster Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and organized Program Secretary to provide administrative support to the Clinical Manager of the portfolio of Pediatric Ambulatory Clinics.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Clinical Manager, including human resources, payroll, meeting coordination, purchasing, budgeting, and facility coordination.
- Assist with coordinating meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and databases.
- Develop and implement administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to achieve program goals.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Community College Business Secretarial Program or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience.
- Proficient keyboarding skills (60 wpm).
- Computer skills in Windows, MS Office, and other relevant software.
- Excellent transcription and minute-taking abilities.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality.
Working Conditions
