Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled heavy equipment operator to join our team at The Dirt Merchant Ltd. As a Construction Equipment Operator - Land Development, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including backhoes, loaders, and graders, to perform tasks such as excavation, grading, and land clearing.
You will work closely with our project managers and other team members to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a land development or construction setting.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Certifications in areas such as Occupational Health and Safety, WHMIS, and H2S awareness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
