Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at RMA Renal Treatment Centers - Mid Atlantic, Inc. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, working closely with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Conduct routine patient observations, measure and record vital signs, and perform other tasks as needed
- Work collaboratively with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in dialysis or renal care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
