About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at BC Cancer. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective management of medications for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and prepare medication orders for distribution to patients.
  • Verify prescriptions and ensure accuracy and completeness of dispensed medications.
  • Enter and maintain accurate records of medication orders and dispensing information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless medication management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Requirements

  • Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of medication management principles and practices.
