Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our team at RMA Renal Treatment Centers - Mid Atlantic, Inc. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals with end-stage renal disease.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to launch your career in the healthcare industry. As a Patient Care Technician, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide direct patient care, monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and perform various technical duties.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Perform various technical duties, such as setting up hemodialysis machines and monitoring patient vital signs
- Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
- Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet
- Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed
