Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team at Atkore. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload and load trucks, ensuring accurate and efficient receipt and shipment of goods.
  • Package and unpack products, components, and materials, preparing them for shipment or storage.
  • Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment to move goods and materials within the warehouse.
  • Assemble containers, crates, and pack goods for shipping, and prepare shipping instructions and documentation.
  • Review orders to determine optimal loading layouts for trucks.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of goods from trucks and other vehicles.
  • Plan daily shipments and coordinate with drivers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documentation, recording shortages and rejecting damaged items.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse activities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, with a focus on shipping and receiving.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods; valid forklift certification an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
