Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Professional to join our team at The 401 Group of Companies. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, meeting sales targets, and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product lines, including automotive, recreational vehicle, powersport, and marine products.
  • Provide customers with thorough explanations of aftermarket products and extended warranties, ensuring they make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Process cash, financing, and leasing deals accurately, securing approvals through financial sources sanctioned by management.
  • Track and report performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to exceed sales targets.
  • Exceed customer expectations with regards to customer service and follow-up, fostering a positive and loyal customer base.
  • Train and support sales employees with the accuracy of their PBS and other paperwork requirements, ensuring a seamless sales process.
  • Foster a professional work environment for sales employees, attending and contributing to daily and weekly departmental meetings.
  • Promote effective communication amongst dealership personnel, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative team.
  • Ensure personnel are in compliance with dealership and corporate policies and procedures, as well as governmental, OMVIC, MVDA, CPA, and Bank requirements.
  • Effectively resolve outstanding customer complaints, providing timely and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Promote honesty and integrity within the dealership culture, upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Valid G Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
  • OMVIC license is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of automotive sales and financing aspects.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Friendly attitude and positive team participation skills.
  • Above-average computer skills and technical savvy.
