Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Liverpool Pizzeria & Lounge.

This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and optimal stock levels;
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining high-quality standards and exceptional customer service;
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, fostering a positive work environment and promoting employee growth;
  • Hire and manage food service staff, focusing on teamwork, efficiency, and adaptability;
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining accurate records and implementing corrective actions as needed;
  • Prepare and submit reports, analyzing sales data and making informed decisions to drive business growth;
  • Establish work schedules, balancing staff needs with operational requirements;
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and securing the best deals for the restaurant;
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategic plans, driving business success and excellence;

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food service industry;
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience, including knowledge of food preparation and presentation, menu planning, and nutrition;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team;
  • Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention;
  • Familiarity with budgeting and cost control principles, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions;
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds;
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays;
