Occupational Therapist Opportunity at Lifemark Health Group

Lifemark Health Group is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Liverpool, NS. As an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be working closely with clients to support their physical and psycho-social recovery.

About the Role:

  • You will assess client physical and cognitive functioning within our clinic setting, utilizing tools such as job demands analyses, functional capacity evaluations, and ergonomic assessments.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning.
  • Educate clients on topics including safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities.
  • Support return-to-work programs through job coaching and accommodation recommendations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with the inter-professional team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development and FCE training.

Benefits and Compensation:

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include paid vacation days, access to continuing education allowances, and opportunities for leadership development.
