The Salvation Army is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Thrift Store Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and contributing to the success of our thrift store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sorting and pricing donated items, and restocking shelves.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card, and debit transactions.
  • Contribute to the success of our thrift store by meeting sales targets, maintaining inventory levels, and adhering to store policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 months of prior retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
