Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide a positive and welcoming experience for customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including dusting, sweeping, and mopping floors, and restocking shelves as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Process and price donations, restock shelves, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive and respectful work environment, and support the overall success of the store.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of secondary school.
  • Experience: A minimum of three months of prior retail experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Basic math skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20-29 pounds, and perform tasks that require frequent twisting, bending, and reaching.
