Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytical Chemist to join our research and development team at Actlabs. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who are passionate about innovation and excellence.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct complex analytical procedures to develop new chemical formulations and processes
  • Act as technical consultant in a particular field of expertise, providing guidance and support to colleagues and clients
  • Analyze, synthesize, purify, modify and characterize chemical or biochemical compounds using advanced instrumentation and techniques
  • Participate in interdisciplinary research and development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth
  • Provide staff training and mentorship to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development
  • Project management, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion and quality results
  • Conduct and assist in laboratory research, designing and executing experiments to test hypotheses and gather data
  • Analyze data and prepare reports, communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Develop quality management and quality assurance standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Chemistry or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in analytical chemistry, with a strong background in research and development
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and execute complex experiments and analyses
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word, with experience working with instrumentation and software
