About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Director to lead our Thunder Bay office. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to drive business growth and success in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a business plan to drive growth and success in the Thunder Bay region.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and support staff to deliver high-quality projects and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to drive business growth and success.
  • Manage and oversee the financial performance of the Thunder Bay office, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Collaborate with other offices and teams to share best practices, knowledge, and resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure the Thunder Bay office remains competitive and compliant.
Requirements
  • University degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a senior engineering or management role, with a strong track record of leadership and business development.
  • Proven experience in managing teams, budgets, and financial performance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop and implement business plans.
  • Knowledge of the mining and metals sector or the power sector.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
