Senior .NET Developer for Pension Benefits System

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our team at Vantix Systems Inc. in Alberta, Canada.

The successful candidate will be responsible for various duties related to application development and maintenance projects, including requirements gathering and programming tasks.

As a key member of the application development team, you will work closely with subject matter experts to ensure code functions as per specification.

This 12-month contract position offers a competitive salary of $85 per hour, commensurate with experience, and the possibility of extension.

Job Requirements
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience (4-yr AD experience).
  • At least 7 years of Application Developer experience.
  • Experience with Entity Framework, .Net frameworks, C# application development, MS SQL Server, Windows Forms development, WCF web services, ASP.NET MVC, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience with IBM FileNet, IBM Case Manager, IBM Websphere, IBM MQ, creating and maintaining systems to manage workflows, Selenium load testing, ASP.NET Web API web services, Angular Typescript web development, DEV Express Framework, pension plan financial filings and regulations, TD Merchant Services/Bambora APIs.
