Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Michaels. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-organized store environment, and supporting the sales floor team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and helpful service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockrooms, and customer areas.
  • Sales Floor Support: Assist sales floor team members with tasks such as restocking shelves, processing transactions, and maintaining visual merchandising displays.
  • Merchandise Recovery: Participate in merchandise recovery and maintenance activities, including receiving and processing shipments, stocking shelves, and maintaining store recovery standards.
  • Omni-Channel Support: Assist with omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with store team members to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive store environment, and support company initiatives.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
