Seeking a highly skilled Deputy Chief Executive Officer to lead our operations in Swan River, Manitoba.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement organizational policies, bylaws, and resolutions that align with our strategic objectives
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to our elected officials, boards, and councils on matters related to municipal administration and law
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial plans and budgets that meet our organizational needs
  • Manage human resources effectively in a unionized environment, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A Certificate in Manitoba Municipal Administration (CMMA) or equivalent
  • Experience in financial planning and budgeting, as well as working knowledge of municipal administration and law
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
Benefits:

We offer a competitive compensation package and benefits, including a salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to negotiate work schedule(s) and other benefits.
