Produce Clerk

About the Role:
The Produce Clerk is a key member of our Thrifty Foods team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive shopping experience. As a Produce Clerk, you will be the face of our store, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols and Standard Operating Procedures to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment.
- Order, receive, and merchandise produce products in accordance with company inventory control procedures.
- Provide superior customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Increase store sales by actively promoting featured products and engaging with customers to understand their needs.
- Perform back shop and retail floor maintenance, ensuring a clean and organized work area.
- Process department shrink and participate in the training of junior staff.
