Produce Clerk

About the Role:
The Produce Clerk is a key member of our Thrifty Foods team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality produce products are available to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols and Standard Operating Procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Order, receive, and merchandise produce products in accordance with company inventory control procedures.
- Provide superior customer service to meet customer needs and increase store sales by actively promoting featured products.
- Perform back shop and retail floor maintenance, keeping work areas clean and presentable.
- Participate in the training of junior staff and contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Above average communication skills (oral and written).
- May be required to lift up to 20lbs, stand for long periods of time, and complete physical work including but not limited to bending, lifting, and reaching.

The starting salary range for this position in British Columbia is $16.85/hr. We will consider factors such as your working location, work experience and skills as well as internal equity, and market conditions to ensure that you are paid fairly and competitively.
