About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Squamish Shell. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our sales goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Sales and Merchandising
    • Assign sales staff to duties and ensure that the sales floor is adequately staffed at all times.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
    • Work with the buying team to select and purchase merchandise that meets the needs of our customers.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and that stock is rotated regularly.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and customer service, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
