Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Squamish Shell. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
- Assign Sales Tasks: Allocate duties to sales staff to ensure efficient store operations and maximize sales potential.
- Hire and Train: Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to meet the needs of our customers.
- Authorize Payments: Process payments and manage cash handling procedures.
- Exhibit Design: Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing displays and exhibits that drive sales and customer engagement.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage stock, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Reporting: Prepare sales reports and provide insights to management to inform business decisions.
- Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service, resolve issues, and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
