About the Role

CITYPIZZA BELLEVILLE is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and quality, and lead by example to inspire and motivate your team to do the same.
  • Manage Schedules and Reports: Establish work schedules, and prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting: Fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer service and quality.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, with a focus on attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
