Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Save-On-Foods. As a valued member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in delivering quality patient-centred care and contributing to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Day-to-Day Pharmacy Operations: Oversee the dispensing of medications, maximize clinical opportunities, and administer vaccinations to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Maintain Inventory: Ensure that the pharmacy is well-stocked with medications and supplies, and that inventory levels are maintained within established parameters.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all pharmacy operations are in compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Remain up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the pharmacy industry, including new medications and clinical opportunities.
  • Provide Private Consultations: Offer private consultations to patients, maintaining a patient-centred care culture and providing personalized advice and guidance.
  • Provide Clinical Services: Provide clinical services, including medication management and health screening, to patients in need.
Requirements
  • Canadian Pharmacist Licence: Hold a valid Canadian Pharmacist licence and be in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
  • Injection Certification: Possess current injection certification.
  • Pharmacy Software Proficiency: Be proficient in Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
  • Opioid Agonist Treatment Experience: Have experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Possess the ability to assess, plan, and apply clinical knowledge when required.
  • Additional Training or Certifications: Possess additional training or certifications, which are considered an asset.

Compensation Details

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors. The salary range for this position is $53.00 - $56.00 per hour.
