About the Opportunity:


We are seeking a skilled Senior Product Development Manager to join our Erikson Pro Division, responsible for driving growth and innovation in the pro lighting market segment. As a key member of our team, you will be accountable for managing a portfolio of brands, developing go-to-market strategies, and collaborating with suppliers to drive product development.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage brand segments and develop growth strategies to increase market share
  • Develop product pricing for the Canadian market, ensuring competitiveness and profitability
  • Design and execute product go-to-market strategies, including marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Analyze sales, profitability, and competitive data to inform product decisions
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and reducing waste
  • Lead product lifecycle management from SKU creation to launch and retirement
  • Build and maintain close relationships with suppliers, fostering open communication and collaboration
  • Collaborate with sales representatives and suppliers to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Provide expertise on product applications, competitive landscape, and industry trends
  • Develop and coordinate marketing and communications activities, including social media and digital content
  • Assist with e-commerce efforts, including Amazon storefront maintenance and advertising campaigns
  • Support trade shows, special events, and promotional activities


Requirements:



  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the entertainment lighting industry
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing technical products, with a strong understanding of digital marketing and lead generation
  • Proven analytical and project management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to analyze and understand sales and financial data, with a strategic mindset
  • Familiarity with MS Office and JD Edwards/E1, a plus
  • Bilingual in French and English (required)
