Scientific Sample Preparation Specialist

We are seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician to join our team in Hamilton, New Zealand. This fixed-term full-time role involves assisting in the daily registration and preparation of samples delivered to our site for residues testing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sample Registration: Receive and register samples without error, maintain sample condition, and store inventory after testing.
  • Sample Preparation: Process and test samples accurately, adhere to lab practices, and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Rostered 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime as required.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, with no prior laboratory experience necessary but advantageous. We encourage candidates who are eligible to work in New Zealand and have existing work rights or a suitable working visa to apply.
