Job Summary

Mackenzie Health is seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to join our team in Mammography. As a key member of our inter-professional team, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within a team environment to produce high-quality images utilizing mammography digital equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures.
  • Carry out technical flow of work and actively participate in the daily departmental quality assurance program.
  • Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and departments within the hospital to provide complete patient care and optimize image quality.
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment for all through compliance with patient and staff safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Diploma (Degree) in Radiography from an accredited institution.
  • Registered member in good standing of College of Medical Radiography Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
  • Ability to work as a team member and with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven attendance record and ability to perform essential duties of the job.
  • Empathy and commitment to providing an exceptional experience for staff and clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Membership in CAMRT/OAMRT.
  • Minimum 2 years mammography experience in a hospital setting.
  • Certificate in Breast Imaging (CBI).
  • Quality Control experience.
