Job Summary

Mackenzie Health is seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to join our team in the Computed Tomography (CT) department. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for coordinating and participating in all CT scanning procedures, producing high-quality radiographs, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of CT scanners and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and participate in all CT scanning procedures, producing excellent quality radiographs.
  • Responsible for the efficient and safe operation of all CT scanners and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures.
  • Complete diagnostic images of in-patient and out-patient clients in an accurate, efficient, and professional manner within X-Ray.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and others by ensuring that health and safety policies are followed.

Requirements

  • Diploma (Degree) in radiography from an accredited institution.
  • Member in good standing of the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
  • Proven clinical experience with patient-focused care, including strong patient assessment, care planning, patient education, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-graduate education pertaining to CT scanning is an asset.
  • Membership in CAMRT/OAMRT preferred.
  • Ability to speak a second language.
