About the Role
Mackenzie Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Xray. As a key member of our inter-professional team, you will play an essential role in providing quality and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within a team environment to complete diagnostic images of in-patient and out-patient clients in an accurate, efficient, and professional manner.
- Ensure that health and safety policies are followed to provide a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and others.
- Rotate through x-ray master and perform essential duties of the job.
Requirements
- Diploma (Degree) in Radiography from an accredited institution.
- Registered member in good standing of College of Medical Radiography Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
- Ability to work as a team member, with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven attendance record.
- Understanding and compliance with patient and staff safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Empathy in interactions with others.
- Behaviours consistent with Mackenzie Health's Commitment to Caring.
- Alignment with the values of Mackenzie Health – Excellence, Leadership, and Empathy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Membership in CAMRT/OAMRT.
- Quality Control experience.
