About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Retirement team as a DC Retirement Consulting Intern. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced consultants and gain hands-on experience in providing defined contribution consulting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analytical work in preparation for client reports, including statistics and graphs to help develop key observations and recommendations to optimize plan performance.
  • Support consultants in all aspects of DC consulting, including plan design, investments, provider search and implementation, member engagement, plan oversight and governance, and ongoing plan optimization.
  • Perform plan design or pricing benchmarking analyses.
  • Support researching and reviewing investment options, preparing performance summaries and comparative analyses as needed.
  • Help prepare and review education session materials for client employee groups.
  • Assist in the preparation of various business development documents, such as proposals, presentations, and reports.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in actuarial science, finance, or commerce.
  • Education or interest in developing investment knowledge is considered a strong asset.
  • Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English, as the candidate will be required to interact with stakeholders outside of Quebec.
  • First-rate analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a fun, results-oriented, and successful team.
