About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Retirement Consultant to join our Client Solutions team at Sun Life. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively call existing Group Retirement Savings plan members to discuss retirement income options and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Partner with clients to be 'retirement ready' through the use of planning tools and provide investment guidance to meet their financial needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on product changes, industry trends, and competitor products to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Contribute to sales targets by meeting or exceeding objectives and working collaboratively with the team.
Requirements
  • Valid and active Life Insurance License (LLQP) or Insurance of person license in Quebec (1a).
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or Financial planner designation (IQPF).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with clients over the phone.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of accountability and a results-driven approach.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of related sales experience in the financial services industry, with a preference for experience selling wealth products over the phone.
