About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DC Retirement Consulting Analyst to join our team in Montréal. As a key member of our Retirement team, you will provide technical support in delivering defined contribution (DC) consulting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analytical work, including statistics and graph preparation, to support client reports and develop key observations and recommendations to optimize plan performance.
  • Support consultants in all aspects of DC consulting, including plan design, investments, provider search and implementation, member engagement, plan oversight and governance, and ongoing plan optimization.
  • Conduct plan design or pricing benchmarking analyses to help clients make informed decisions.
  • Research and review investment options, prepare performance summaries and comparative analyses, and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Attend client meetings, when relevant, to learn and provide support.
  • Prepare and review education session materials for client employee groups.
  • Stay up-to-date on pension legislation, CRA rules, DC industry developments, and retirement plan management best practices.
  • Contribute to the preparation of business development documents, such as proposals, presentations, and reports.
Requirements
  • University degree in actuarial, finance, or commerce.
  • Education or interest in developing investment knowledge is a strong asset.
  • Commitment to obtain a Québec life insurance license within the first year.
  • Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English, as the candidate will interact with stakeholders outside Québec.
  • First-rate analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a varied work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a fun, results-oriented, hard-working, and successful team.
