Pharmacist - Clinical Services Expert

Unlock your career potential as a highly skilled Pharmacist in our dynamic team at Sobeys Inc. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient-focused care and support to customers, medical practitioners, and retail pharmacies.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be focused on clinical services, prioritizing prescription safety, and providing patients with personalized care plans. You will have the chance to coach pharmacy students and assistants, while also collecting and analyzing relevant patient, drug, and disease information.
Key Responsibilities:- Clinical Services: Focus on disease state management, medication reviews, health risk assessments, and monitoring medication adherence.
- Prescription Safety: Prioritize technical functions to Pharmacy Assistants when available, and ensure seamless workflow efficiencies.
- Patient Care Plans: Initiate, follow up, and document patient care plans to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
- Professional Development: Coach pharmacy students and assistants, and continuously improve your clinical skills.
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in pharmacy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment. A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution, licensed pharmacist status in Newfoundland & Labrador, and injection certification are essential.
