Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Relief Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart Canada.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent patient experience and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations, including ensuring accurate and efficient filling of prescriptions, counseling patients on pharmaceutical products, and maintaining proper storage of medications.

You will also be responsible for establishing strong working relationships with Professional Services District Managers and other stakeholders, as well as following provincial regulations established by the regulatory body.

A key aspect of this role is to ensure patients receive all eligible services they are entitled to, including medication reviews and injections, to meet specific patient needs.

The Relief Pharmacist must travel to various locations and follow the schedules set by the Relief program coordinator, developing collaborative relationships with other healthcare providers within the store.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Pharmacist License, with secondary optional permit in Alberta (CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization) an asset.

Experience in pharmacy operations and a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.

In addition, you should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
