Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited.

About the Role
  • Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter supplements to meet patient needs.
  • Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly and positive manner.
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public health days and clinics.
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor requests/issues.
  • Review and control costs within the pharmacy department.
  • Provide ongoing training for new and existing pharmacy colleagues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license required.
  • Superior customer relations skills and strong sense of professionalism.
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills.
  • Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience formulating and executing action plans.
  • Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems an asset.
