You'll apply your advanced assessment, clinical, and interpersonal skills in a workplace that prioritizes patient satisfaction and care above all else.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer specialized IV therapies with precision;
  • Review physician's orders accurately and efficiently;
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to ensure comprehensive care;
  • Initiate IV lines with confidence;
  • Perform phlebotomy with skill;
  • Provide expert injection teaching and general health guidance;
  • Monitor patients closely and document their conditions according to our established standards;
  • Offer direction, support, and delegation to LPNs as needed; and
  • Engage in ongoing internal and external continuing education activities to enhance your expertise.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in a hospital setting, with ICU and/or ER experience being an asset;
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and current registration in good standing with the relevant licensing body;
  • Training and experience in medication administration via various routes are essential;
  • Excellent intravenous skills are required;
  • CVAD training and experience will be considered an asset;
  • Maintain current BCLS certification;
  • Able to interpret technical instructions related to client care and assess clients visually and auditorily; and
  • Experience with biologics/infusions will be viewed as a significant asset.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year (dependent on location and experience)
