Medical Laboratory Technologist Job Opportunity

Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples.
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate test results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide timely and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
  • Current registration or eligibility as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario.
  • Minimum two years' experience in a medical laboratory preferred.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to personal, patient, and staff safety.
