Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our dynamic team in Laboratory Medicine, Core Lab – Transfusion Medicine. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing laboratory tests and procedures with accuracy and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized lab procedures in Transfusion Medicine and Hematology
  • Participate in quality control and quality improvement programs
  • Identify problems and take appropriate corrective action
  • Use LIS to record and report information

Requirements:

  • Current CMLTO registration for Transfusion Medicine, Hematology, Biochemistry, and Microbiology
  • Experience in Core Laboratory an asset

Working Conditions:

This is a Part Time Casual position with 8 hour shifts, days, evenings, nights, on call, including weekend shifts in Laboratory Medicine, Core Lab – Transfusion Medicine.

COVID-19 Vaccination:

As a condition of employment, you are required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination to the Hospital's Occupational Health and Safety department.
