Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples.
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate test results.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide timely and effective patient care.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
- Current registration or eligibility as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario.
- Minimum two years' experience in a medical laboratory preferred.
- Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
