Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Kitchen Helper to join our team at Nam 2 Vietnamese. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized, and assisting with food preparation and service.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  • Load and unload dishwashers, and wash dishes by hand as needed.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive and store supplies in designated areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Assist with food service, including setting tables and serving food.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work a 40-hour workweek.
Work Environment:

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding workload. As a Kitchen Helper, you will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
