Job Title: Hardwood Floor Covering Installer

We are seeking a skilled Hardwood Floor Covering Installer to join our team at H&A Contractor Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing hardwood floors, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a dusty environment and handle heavy loads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Install hardwood floors, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Prepare floors for installations, removing existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment and handle heavy loads
  • Physically demanding role
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and hand-eye coordination
Work Environment:

This role requires working in a residential setting, with various locations. The work site environment is dusty, and the work setting is physically demanding.Personal Suitability:

Work Schedule:
