Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hardwood Floor Installation Specialist to join our team at H&A Contractor Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality hardwood flooring installations that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, preparing accurate flooring plans and schedules.
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors, conducting thorough moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to installation.
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants, and prepare floors for installation.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and performing tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in hardwood floor installation.
  • Permanent employment with a 40 to 44 hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English.
Work Environment

Our team works in a variety of locations, including residential settings, and is exposed to dusty environments.

Physical Demands

The role requires the ability to distinguish between colors, hand-eye coordination, and the use of steel-toed safety boots, hard hats, and gloves.
